Comparing a family member to The Outsiders

          In the book ,"The Outsiders", Chapters 1 and 2 , I can compare this story to my uncle . He wouldn't be the one getting jumped up , instead he was the one jumping the other guys . My uncle was in a gang since he was 15 , and he was always getting into trouble . So my grandma took custody over him because his parents wouldn't take good care of him . They would go out and just leave him there by himself since he was 10 . So he got used to being on his own . My grandma wouldn't let him go out , drink , or smoke , but he did it when she was at work . He never changed , I don't know if he has changed now because I haven't seen him since I was 4 years old .
